Dr. Zhang Haiming is a plastic surgeon based in Beijing with nearly 40 years of experience in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. His journey began in 1986 when he was admitted to the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, where he laid the foundation for a distinguished medical career.

His early training included three years of formal medical education, followed by one year of residency and one year as chief resident. In 1991, he was promoted to attending physician, recognizing his growing expertise and clinical capabilities.

After years of dedicated practice and meeting rigorous professional standards, Dr. Zhang was promoted to associate chief physician in 1998. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to advancing both clinical practice and academic research in plastic surgery.

Dr. Zhang has authored multiple SCI-indexed publications in the fields of clinical plastic surgery and clinical anatomy, as well as more than ten papers published in leading Chinese medical journals. His contributions have helped advance knowledge and innovation within the specialty.

In 2003, he was promoted to chief physician in plastic surgery after successfully passing the Ministry of Health’s professional evaluation. In 2004, he was formally appointed by the Academic Committee of the Plastic Surgery Hospital in recognition of his expertise, achievements, and contributions to the field of plastic surgery.
